Castello Monte Vibiano Vecchio
Short description:
A first of its kind in Italy, the Monte Vibiano Farm was first established in the 1960’s. Now devoted exclusivelyto agriculture, the farm is maintained by 20 permanent employees on 300 hectares of cultivated land and 400 hectares of forest. 40 hectares of peaceful vineyards surround the castle of Monte Vibiano and a new, state-of-the-art winery, just completed in April 2003 (48 computer controlled stainless steel tanks). In addition, Monte Vibiano uses over 300 French oak barrels to age the wine. This modern facility produces some of the best central Italy wines. The consumer can easily check the value of every indicator throght a Q-code on the label of the wine bottle. The results of every indicator are also available HERE
