Who we are

The Wine Observatory on Sustainability is a no-profit initiative dedicated to the sharing and coordination of sustainability practices in the wine sector.

We bring together wine growers, wineries, business sector, public institutions, research centres and universities, trade associations and consumers to drive a sustainable approach to wine production and consumption.

WOS is promoted by the members of the Steering Committee:

The Advisory & Technical Working Group suggests and develops issues related to WOS activities and promote joint work on specific topics. It is guided by the Steering Committee and FIVS.

WOS welcomes and encourages broad participation and involvement of key partners and technical experts from trade associations, public sector, academic institutions, research centres, companies.

The Scientific Secretariat ensures the coordination and implementation of WOS activities.
